“Welcome to Versova where we will be taking you on a culinary journey of 'Real' Indian food as prepared and enjoyed in the homes and in particular the streets of Mumbai. As waves of immigrants came from all over the country with dreams in their eyes, they would bring with them their cooking treasures resulting in a vestige of styles and street foods that would come to reflect a new cosmopolitan Mumbai. We will be reflecting these styles and techniques through our cooking.
You will experience the vibrant flavours of Mumbai featuring traditional street foods and exquisite regional dishes that will provide an explosion of flavour and an attack on the senses. Bon appetite!
Head Chef - Vijendra Rana
Classically trained in 5* hotels in Mumbai, Delhi & Dubai, acclaimed Chef Rana joins Versova as Head Chef after working for several years at Khushi; the oldest Indian restaurant in Edinburgh. He brings a wealth of experience specialising in true authentic Indian food presented with flair and creativity
